DISCOVER OUR FAVORITE NEARBY SPOTS

Consider this your guide to East Hampton, Hedges-style. From our historic corner of town, some of the East End’s most charming spots are just a walk, bike ride, or quick cruise away.

Start with a stroll through East Hampton Village, where boutiques, galleries, cafés, and village favorites line Main Street and Newtown Lane. Nearby, Guild Hall brings art, theater, and culture together in one of East Hampton’s most beloved institutions, while LongHouse Reserve offers an inspiring mix of sculpture, gardens, and open-air beauty.

For a little local history, make your way toward Mulford Farm, one of the village’s most storied landmarks, or stop by Home Sweet Home Museum for a glimpse into East Hampton’s past. When you’re ready to slow things down, wander the trails around Hook Pond or head toward Nature Trail for a peaceful stretch surrounded by greenery.

Feeling active? Grab a racquet for a game of tennis, hop on one of our bikes and explore the village, or make your way south toward the ocean. Main Beach and the nearby coastline are never far, perfect for a morning walk, an afternoon swim, or simply settling in with your toes in the sand.

And then, of course, there’s The Hedges Inn—our home base for it all. Tucked between village charm, pond views, and the beach, it’s perfectly placed for days spent exploring East Hampton and evenings spent right back where you started.

“Palm Beach, an island where 25 living billionaires have homes, yacht slips, and club memberships, is buzzier and busier than ever.”
